The chosen career path is Project Management, a decision influenced by my seven years of experience in management and my enjoyment of problem-solving and facilitating teamwork. While managing a team has been fulfilling, Project Management offers the opportunity to collaborate with employees across the company to address significant challenges. Typically requiring a four-year degree, relevant skills, and field-specific knowledge or experience, a Project Management role involves assigning duties, communicating project requirements, resolving issues, creating status presentations, and developing or updating project plans, encompassing objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing. Essential technology skills include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), project management software, video conferencing, video creation/editing, and word processing.

The skills required for Project Management encompass process management, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management. With seven years of experience as a field manager and staff employee, I possess most of the necessary skills. Currently pursuing a Project Management degree at Capella University and actively engaged in a Project Management role, I am well-equipped for the position.
